Founder & Owner
Sven Thomsen
At the helm of H.O. Schlüter stands Sven Thomsen, the third generation of his family to lead the company. As the grandson of our founder, Hans Otto Schlüter, he carries forward a proud legacy while steering the business into a future defined by innovation and sustainability.
With more than 31 years of experience in the window industry and serving as CEO since 2005, Sven has guided H.O. Schlüter to become one of Germany’s most productive and respected manufacturers of high-performance uPVC windows and doors. Under his leadership, the company has earned recognition such as Entrepreneur of the Year and Best Innovation Product for advancements in window automation.
Driven by a belief in energy-saving construction methods and superior product performance, Sven combines tradition with forward-thinking strategy. His vision ensures that H.O. Schlüter remains true to its roots while continuing to set new benchmarks in quality, efficiency, and innovation — both in Germany and now across North America.
